An FIR has been filed against Rakhi Sawant by Sherlyn Chopra.
He has filed a defamation case against Rakhi Sawant. According to Mumbai Police, Sherlyn Chopra has accused Rakhi Sawant of supporting film director Sajid Khan. Earlier, Rakhi Sawant had filed a defamation case against Sherlyn Chopra.
There has been a fierce verbal war between Sherlyn Chopra and Rakhi Sawant for some time now. Sherlyn Chopra has accused businessman Raj Kundra and film director Sajid Khan of sexual harassment. A complaint has been lodged against both of them with the police. At the same time, Rakhi Sawant has been seen allegedly defending these two individuals. He has accused Sherlyn of “sextortion.”
Sherlyn claims that while supporting Sajid, Rakhi Sawant has made objectionable and defamatory statements against him. In this connection, Sherlyn has filed cases against Rakhi and her lawyer, Falguni Brahmbhatt, in different police stations under several charges, including defamation. The latest complaint was made on Tuesday, November 8 at the Amboli police station. Sherlyn has lodged an FIR against Rakhi under IPC sections 354-A (sexual abuse), 500 (defamation), and sections of the IT Act. According to the report by ANI, at present, the police have not issued any summonses for investigation against Rakhi.
Earlier, Rakhi Sawant had filed a defamation case against Sherlyn Chopra.
Rakhi had reached the police a few days ago. There, his lawyer told the media, “A woman like Sherlyn Chopra is making blatant comments against my client Rakhi Sawant. We have filed a defamation complaint against her. A defamation notice will also be sent to her. Whatever she has been saying until today is wrong about Rakhi. If that is the case, we have requested that a complaint be filed against such a woman with the police. Whatever you do, you have every right to file a case. But no one has given you this right that you can be any other person or woman. “Talk about it upside down.”
Lawyer Falguni Brahmbhatt said that whatever Sherlyn Chopra said about Rakhi Sawant is completely wrong, and if she is saying something like this, then she should have proof of that.
At the same time, Rakhi Sawant said that Sherlyn Chopra had blackmailed many people. He claimed that he had all the evidence against Sherlyn, including video evidence. Rakhi also claimed that two to three people have committed suicide due to Sherlyn’s blackmail. They said,
I have videos like this. He has blackmailed so many times.
I have all those videos. Intelligence captures them using a camera. The producer invites the director himself. When he comes into the room, the video Shame on saying this. Then he blackmails them for the rest of their lives. Those people have sent me videos. They have sent me the chat in which Sherlyn sent nude videos. I will present all this in court.”
On the other hand, Sherlyn says that Rakhi Sawant is engaged in defending Sajid Khan and Raj Kundra, while she has no animosity toward Rakhi. However, while saying all of this, Sherlyn used Rakhi’s words, to which she strongly objected.
